In the near future, throughout the month of February and March, will begin an oceanographic survey aboard B / O Cornide Saavedra. This is the second campaign in the framework of the LIFE + INDEMARES / girls who is to conduct an inventory of habitats related to the areas of expulsion of methane located in the Gulf of Cadiz., Following the criteria in NATURA 2000. Visit several places we've prospected with indirect systems (multibeam, seismic very high resolution seismic medium and high penetration, sonar) along Marine Geology campaigns that have been developed in previous years in the context of other projects research.
I will realize, as in the past, the happenings on board cotidanos through the diary. In it we will narrate the most curious landmarks and stories that happen in everyday life. The campaign headquarters will exercise the Doctor in Marine Sciences, Luis Miguel Fernández Salas, a leading member of the Group Gemar, who has extensive experience in the area, besides being a renowned Cadiz heavily involved in marine scientific research and training of young researchers.
